Thirsty crow story

Once upon a time, a certain crow lived in a certain jungle. He was ingenious and had an inventive mind. Once during summer, the scorching heat and burning rays of the sun-dried the canals and ponds. All were affected by it. So, the crow was also affected. He felt awfully thirsty. He flew here and there in n search of water in order to quench his thirst. As he know,

Fruits of labour are sweeter than gifts of fortune.

After his long search, he did not find water. But he did not stop his search. But soon he realized if he did not drink water he would perish soon.

After a few minutes, he found a pitcher lying in the garden. He was overjoyed to see it.

As he said

No pain, no palm

No thorn, no thorn

No gall,no glory

No cross,no crown

He tried to sip water from it . He became dejected.

He said,

Neither the water rises nor my beak goes down. what could I do?

Now he was sure that he would die. His genius began to think. He caught sight of gravels lying nearby. He at once picked a few gravels and dropped them into the water. He was encouraged to see the water rising up.

As he said

The price of wisdom is above Rubies

He continuously dropped gravels till the water was rise enough He drank the water and flew away saying.

God be praised

So it was proved

The man can have nothing but what he strives for.
